Today, JKF Wadokai has an international following with member clubs all over the world. The most senior active instructors in Japan are Ishizuka sensei, Arakawa sensei, Hakoishi sensei and Takagi sensei. Arakawa sensei is generally regarded as the Wadokai Shihan, but each has their own special talent borne of long years of dedicated training. After them the next generation of seniors in Tokyo include Shimura sensei, Katsube sensei, Maeda sensei, Ito sensei, Sonoda sensei, Kato sensei and Kohata sensei.

 

Elsewhere in Japan, Wadokai karate is represented by many talented and enthusiastic instructors. This includes National and International champions such as Murase Hisao, Nishimura Seijii, Sugiyama Jun, Suzuki Yuji, Okumachi Khoji and Arakawa Takamasa. In Europe, the senior representatives are Shingo Ohgami sensei 8th Dan who was a direct student of Otsuka sensei and Kuniaki Sakagami sensei 8th Dan who was a direct student of Tatsuo Suzuki sensei.
